KIK Consumer Brands – Hospitality Division
Our Hospitality business, operating as Marietta Hospitality, is a leading North American provider of guest amenities supplying several national and international hotel chains and resorts with single-use personal care products such as shampoos, conditioners, lotions, body wash and bar soap. Our Marietta Hospitality business also partners with leading brands to offer custom amenity programs to our hotel and resort customers.
POSITION: Under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, oversee the work of packaging line mechanics to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of production machinery in the plant.
Directs the line mechanics on the assigned shift and ensures that the daily work is carried out
Ordering parts and support equipment.
Assists mechanics in troubleshooting equipment when they cannot adequately correct malfunctions on their own.
Ensures enforcement by subordinates of all procedures and interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
Performs test runs or testing of products as required by our customers
High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic in a high speed packing environment required OR two year technical degree
Supervisory experience preferred
Basic machine shop, welding or electrical experience preferred
Use hands, eyes and fingers to do precision assembly work or to operate precision instruments
Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Basic math skills to plan schedules and keep production records
Detect small differences in shape, size and texture of products
Inspect electric and electronic systems by following blueprints and diagrams
