The Blow Mold Operator is within our Automotive division and is located in Freehold, NJ. The position coordinates and executes the set-up of multiple blow mold machines. Their duties are to ensure that all Blow Mold equipment is safely producing quality plastic bottles and ensure smooth production for each shift.

Essential Job Functions

The position of Machine Operator for the Blow Molding department coordinates and executes the set-up of multiple blow mold machines. Their duties are to ensure that all Blow Mold equipment is safely producing quality plastic bottles and ensure smooth production for each shift.




  • Load Labels
  • Ensure Production of Good / Quality completed bottles
  • Perform, review, and react to Blow Molding / Bottle Production Quality Checks
  • Manage the Blender to ensure correct Raw Material delivery inclusive of Change Overs
  • Change and clean Screen and head system as needed
  • Start and Stop the Blow Molding as needed
  • Troubleshoot and Correct Blow Molding Issues; Request support as needed to ensure quality production
  • Troubleshoot and Correct Trimmer / Tail Ripper Issues; Request support as needed to ensure quality production
  • Perform Change Overs autonomously
  • Perform Blow Molding Preventative Maintenance Work
  • Utilization, Programming, and Maintenance of the Quality Equipment, inclusive of the Vision System
  • Rebuild of broken equipment related to Blow Molding
  • Start-Up Blow Molders from a Cold-Start
  • Support the management of bottle production inclusive of a Filler Change over
  • Ensure proper flow of product and production as needed from Blow Molding through trimming
  • Support Maintenance as needed
  • Housekeeping and Maintaining a Clean Work Area



  • 1 -2 years mechanical/maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • A minimum of a high school education or its equivalent
  • Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment- ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical terminology
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have willingness to learn and improve skills
  • Time Management and Organization; Ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities
