Essential Job Functions

A Maintenance Mechanic is within our Household division and is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.

 

  • Mechanical aptitude to perform minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Troubleshoot all equipment on the Filling Production Lines.
  • Notifies proper management of any equipment problems
  • Responsible for cleaning and greasing of production equipment.
  • Knowledge of change-over / washout procedures and the ability to execute. Including target times for all changeovers and washouts.
  • Initial requirements involve setting-up and running the Labeler, Filler, Packer, Capper and Box Maker. Including Line start up times.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Operates any of the following equipment as needed; bagger, de-bagger, labeler, filler, case packer, case erector and case sealer machines. 
  • Ensures product meets quality control standards. 
  • Assists in department inventory and performs basic record keeping duties as needed.
  • Lifts and packs bottles of finished product as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or (GED)
  • 2 years of troubleshooting experience
  • Will require an aptitude test
