The Tank Farm Processor (Bulk Handler) is within our Automotive division and is an intricate part of the production team. The Processor (Bulk Handler) will be responsible with offloading incoming tankers and rail cars in a timely and safe manner. This position is team oriented driven, with excellent communication within the departments as well as the ability to identify problems before issues arise.

Essential Job Functions

• Inspect incoming raw material for conformity
• Ability to supply the lines with the required bulk materials for drumming.
• Assist operators in staging totes/pump stands for future use.
• Unload tankers and rail cars of chemicals in a safe manner.
• Receive empty totes//drums deliveries.
• Ability to change out reclaim totes as needed.
• Fill, weigh and prepare totes and drums for customer orders working with DSI scanner.
• Interface with other divisions to support corporate initiatives.
• Follow guidelines for proper disposal of all waste materials and EPA requirements.
• Comply with all OSHA Hazard Material Procedures.
• Follow all safety and GMP guidelines.
• Follow all policies and procedures as applicable.
• Responsible to ensure 5S process is followed. Continuously improve area and provide support to operators to ensure required action items are completed.
• Actively participate in safety activities such as Behavior Base Safety Observation and correct assigned action items.
• Perform other functions as assigned based on business needs.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in processing/batching within manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills at all levels providing timely and concise information.
• Good communication skills (read, write, speak and understand verbal and written schedules, instructions, requests, etc. in English).
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to take initiative to solve problems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be safety driven.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to work in an industrial / outdoor environment.
• Must be able to (1) operate a forklift as needed (certified), (2) be mechanically inclined, (3) willing to work any shift and overtime when required, and (4) be able to work with others in a team environment.
